core connectors

Core utility connectors — integration primitives that live inside the connector layer rather than dedicating a full component. They cover testing (stub, mock, validator), control-plane (controlbus, browse, ref), expression bridges (language, bean), and lightweight in-process queueing (disruptor, direct_vm). None require any external service.

Connectors in this category

Connector URI / type Auth Native SDK One-line description
bean connector://bean/send None No Invoke a registered Go method.
browse connector://browse/send None No In-memory exchange-history inspector for debugging routes.
controlbus connector://controlbus/send None No Send management commands (start / stop / restart route) over the bus.
dataset connector://dataset/send None No Generates synthetic test messages from a fixed dataset (used for load tests).
direct_vm connector://direct-vm/send None No Cross-Helix-context routing within one JVM-equivalent process.
disruptor connector://disruptor/send None No LMAX Disruptor-style ring-buffer in-memory queue (high-throughput SEDA alt).
language connector://language/send None No Evaluate a Starlang / Simple / JSONPath expression on the body.
ref connector://ref/send None No Reference-registry lookup; forwards exchange to a named endpoint at runtime.
scheduler connector://scheduler/send None No Cron / fixed-interval trigger source (mirrors cron:// + timer:// components).
stream connector://stream/send None No Read or write stdin / stdout / stderr / file streams.
stub connector://stub/send None No No-op endpoint that swallows exchanges (used to mock out a route end-point).
validator connector://validator/send None No Validate exchange body against an XML XSD or JSON Schema.

None of these connectors use external Go SDKs — they're all pure Helix internals.
